The Town of Hinsdale Massachusetts was founded in 1804 and is located in Berkshire County.

Hinsdale has about 2000 year round residents. The town is home to two lakes, Lake Ashmere and Plunkett Lake which provide five summer camps as well as recreational opportunities for those in the community.

Today Hinsdale is a rural community in which residents take great pride.
